Jharkhand: 3 accused of theft lynched October 09, 2007 20:30 IST
Three men accused of theft were lynched and another was injured in Koiadih village in Jharkhand's Palamau district on Tuesday, police sources said in Medininagar. The villagers caught hold of the four in the wee hours of Tuesday and beat them up with sticks, killing two of them on the spot while the third succumbed to his injuries later, the sources added. The victims were identified as Suraj Musher, Kariman Musher and Bideswar Musher while the injured person's name is Satyender Musher. All of them came belong to Katiah village in the same district, the sources added.
