In yet another accident involving a Blueline bus, a motorcyclist was crushed to death in Noida on Tuesday. The incident, which came close on the heels of a Blueline bus mowing down seven people in New Delhi on Sunday, triggered protests in the area.

The mishap occurred at Sector-18 when the bus, plying from Noida to Bhajanpura, ran over the youth, police said. The deceased, identified as Rajiv, was a resident of Laxmi Nagar in Delhi.

Violence erupted in the area after the incident with angry people pelting stones at the bus. The police said that the driver and conductor of the vehicle were absconding.
