Janata Dal-Secular supremo and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda has instructed his party members not to make any decision regarding transfer of power for the time being.

Gowda's statement comes in the wake of the inconclusive talks he had with the Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yeshwant Sinha on Sunday.

Gowda, who chaired the JD-S legislature party meeting on Monday, said none of the legislators should come to any conclusion at least for the time being.

The meeting was convened by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, who had said earlier that he wanted to convince his legislators into accepting his resignation. Another meeting of the party is scheduled for Tuesday.

The BJP too is scheduled to hold a meeting of its legislators on Tuesday.
