West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on Wednesday accused a section of print media for writing "trash" on the Nandigram issue and that he found it 'distasteful' to reply to their questions.

"You can go on writing whatever trash you want. It does not matter," Buddhadeb told a newspaper reporter during a press conference.

"I will not reply to your questions. I find it distasteful to respond to you," he said when the reporter posed another question.

Charging the newspaper with writing articles inciting violence at Nandigram, the chief minister said, "Had it been any other state, action would have been taken against your paper. But I do not care for such trifles." He also asked another reporter to lower his voice while asking questions.
