Blast in Pakistan minister's house kills 4 November 09, 2007 17:58 IST
Four people were killed and five others injured on Friday when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the home of Pakistan's Political Affairs Minister Amir Muqam in the north-western city of Peshawar. Muqam was unhurt in the blast triggered by a suicide attacker who entered his home in the Hayatabad area, state-run Pakistan Television said. The minister, who is also the president of the North West Frontier Province unit of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Q, told PTV his elder brother was among the injured. Most of the dead were members of Muqam's security staff. "I am not scared. I have survived two attacks in the past," Muqam said.
