The body of a 21-year-old call centre employee with injury marks suggesting rape was found at a farm in Talegaon Dabhade near Pune, the police said on Saturday.

Two persons -- a driver and his accomplice -- have been arrested in this connection, they said.

The body of the girl, who is yet to be identified, was recovered from a paddy field at Gaunje village near Talegaon about 50 km from Pune, police said adding that the murder could have been committed two days back.

Though a medical report on confirmation of rape was still awaited, the circumstances and the clothes on the victim's body pointed to sexual assault and investigations were on, the police added.
