Fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar, who is accused in a case of extortion, cheating and forgery, has told police that she has severed ties with Dawood since the killing of her husband in 1992.

Haseena claims she has broken all ties with Dawood following her husband Ismail Parkar's killing by rival Arun Gawli gang in 1992 saying her brother did not even call her once after the death, said a senior officer attached to the Anti Extortion Cell.

After evading arrest for over a month, Haseena turned up in a court on May 22 and was granted bail by a local court which asked her to appear before AEC officials for 30 days.

The officer said Haseena has accepted to have been in contact over phone with only two of the Kaskar siblings -- Mushtaqim and Humayun -- the only ones not wanted by the Mumbai police.
