Rajasthan government has suspended M N Dinesh, the Indian Ppolice Service officer who was arrested along with two other Gujarat police officers in the infamous Soharbhuddhin's fake encounter case.

The order for his suspension came on Tuesday night almost more than 20 days after his arrest in the case. Mukesh Sharma, Secretary, Personnel Department (Government of Rajasthan) told PTI that the orders were released after getting a written confirmation from the state Home Department that Alwar's Superintendent of Police M N Dinesh was arrested by the Gujarat police on April 24.

His suspension would be effective from April 24, the date he was arrested by the Gujarat police.

Earlier, the state home minister, after the suspension of two police officials in this case by the Gujarat police, on the fate of Dinesh had said the moment Rajasthan government would get intimation that Dinesh was arrested in the fake encounter case, he would be suspended.
