Senior Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader N Veerasamy on Monday left for Delhi as a special emissary of the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi with two letters.

Before leaving for Delhi, he told reporters at the airport that he was carrying two letters- one for the prime minister and another for the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

DMK sources said the letters contained information about the party's resolution on Sunday seeking Dayanidhi's Maran's removal from the post of Union IT and communication minister.
