Governor accepts Mulayam's resignation May 11, 2007 20:40 IST
Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar accepted the resignation of Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and his council of ministers on Friday. He, however, asked Mulayam to continue as acting chief minister along with his council of ministers till an alternative arrangement is made, according to a notification issued by the Chief Secretary Shambhu Nath in Lucknow.
