Actor Dharmendra made a rare appearance in Parliament and participated in the 150 years celebrations.

He asked the younger generation to feel proud of the legacies of the past and remember the historic events like rising of 1857 led by Mangal Pandey.

The legendary actor said that the young generation must learn to call India as Bharat Mata. "You must call the land of your birth as Ma and also give respect to the word. You would see that the maladies of caste and creed would automatically vanish," he said.
