Three persons were arrested on Thursday in connection with the July 7, 2005 bombings in London.

Sleuths of Scotland Yard's Counter Terrorism Command nabbed two persons at Manchester Airport, as the duo were about to catch a flight to Pakistan.

Hours later, a third person was arrested from a house in Leeds.

Reports said the men had been arrested on suspicion of instigation of acts of terror under the Terrorism Act 2000.

The suspects are being questioned at a central London police station.

Meanwhile, police said searches were underway at five houses in the Leeds area and two premises in east London.

Fifty two commuters and four bombers were killed in the terror attack on three subway trains and a double-decker bus.
