With the first phase of Parliament's Budget session due to conclude, top leaders of United Progressive Alliance and the Left would meet on Wednesday night.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited them for dinner, Congress sources said.

The meeting of the leaders is taking place at a time when the issue of Nandigram is yet to subside and there is concern among alliance partners over rising prices.

The leaders are expected to take stock of the political situation ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
