Pakistan on Monday said India has proposed dates for meeting on Siachen and a schedule for other issues.

Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said Islamabad was in touch with relevant departments in India before these matters are finalised.

On Pakistan's peace process with India, Aslam said Kashmiri leaders were associated with the efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue even though they were not made direct part of the bilateral talks.

"Although they (Kashmiris) are not at the table, but they are associated with the peace process and we have also assured them that Pakistan will not accept any solution, which is not acceptable to them," Aslam said.

Declining to give a time frame to resolve the Kashmir issue, Aslam said India was opposed to the inclusion of Kashmiris in the dialogue process but the Kashmiri leadership has been in consultations with both New Delhi and Islamabad.

"There have been discussions with the Kashmiris. There have been meetings with Pakistan leadership and some meetings of Kashmiri leaders with the Indian side," she said.

On the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project, she said several outstanding issues, including pricing have already been settled and the remaining are under consideration.

On the proposed visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Pakistan, Aslam said no dates had been finalised yet.
