J&K police recover arms cache near Indo-Pak border

The Jammu & Kashmir Police has recovered a cache of arms and explosives near the Indo-Pak border in Arnia, 30 km from Jammu, officials said on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, police carried out searches in Kool Kalyana area near the Indo-Pak border in Arnia belt of Jammu district last evening, the officials said.

They recovered a consignment of arms, which included one AK rifle, five hand grenades, two AK magazines and 78 rounds, the officials said, adding no arrests have been made in this connection.
