In the five years he has been in Rashtrapati Bhavan [Images] Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam has criss-crossed the length and breadth of this country, unlike any other President before him.

In these last five years he has embarked on a singular mission with evangelistic zeal, to change the mindset of Indians, to usher in a scientific temper among the youth, to make Indians believe in themselves and in their country, to realise the dream of Developed India by 2020.

On this journey President Kalam has met thousands of Indians young students for who he reserves a special place in his heart, academics, teachers, scientists, artistes and performers, and Indians from many other spheres.

Have you had the privilege of meeting with President Kalam in these last five years? If yes, please take a little time off to tell the nation about your recollections. And if you have photographs with the People's President, share them with us too. You may send your contributions to citizen.reporter@rediffmail.com and we will publish them.
