The police on Sunday busted a grenade hurling module and arrested six Lashkar-e-Tayiba members in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district.

Launching an investigation in connection with the recovery of a grenade in Doda's new bus stand on May 25, the police arrested one LeT militant Fareed Ahmed Sheikh of Basti Bhaderwah, Doda SSP Mahor Singh said.

During interrogation, Fareed revealed several names of the module. Those arrested have been identified as Waseem Hussain, Mehboob Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed, Shah Nawaz and Raiz Ahmed and were members of the grenade hurling module in Doda, Singh said.

All of them were sent to the joint interrogation cell. They admitted and gave a graphic picture of places where they have hurled grenades.
