Over 17 BJP legislators from the Meena community, including two members of the Rajasthan council of ministers, have threatened to resign if the state government opted to make changes in the list of Scheduled Tribes.

These legislators, including Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kirorilal Meena and Minister of State for Finance Virendra Meena, met Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at her official residence in Jaipur on Friday and asked her not to make any inclusion or amendment in the list of Scheduled Tribes.
