A Delhi court on Wednesday discharged Kashmiri model Tariq Ahmad Dar in the case of his alleged involvement in terror funding after prosecution conceded that there was no sufficient evidence against him.

Dar was arrested immediately after his deportation from Bangladesh on October 25, 2006 and the Delhi Police failed to file the chargesheet against him in stipulated 90 days time.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Seema Maini discharged the model after Delhi Police sought closing the case against him.
