Delhi: Schools to remain closed due to cold wave

Schools in the capital will remain closed till Saturday in view of the severe cold wave conditions.

While all Delhi government-run schools will remain closed, private schools have also been advised to remain closed in view of the severe cold, an official spokesman told PTI.

Schools in the capital had reopened on Monday after the winter break, on a day when the temperature plumetted to 2.6 degree Celsius, the lowest in the season so far.

The minumum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 3.2 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
