15 children hurt in Mumbai mini-marathon

At least 15 children recevied minor injuries due to jostling among them at a certificate distribution ceremony after a mini-marathon in Mumbai on Sunday, police sources said.

The children were sent home after providng first aid, police added.

Funded by Britania Industries and organised by Total Sprots Asia, the mini-marathon for the kids, aged between 8 and 15, was held at the Bandra Reclamation.

Nearly 10,000 children participated in the race flagged off by former cricketer Ajay Jadeja.
