PMO directs action against imposter

A person posing himself as 'Advisor' to Prime Minister has been going around presenting visiting cards and sending greeting cards to others describing himself as such.

The action of one Dr M V Rao has come to Prime Minister Office's notice, which has asked the agencies concerned to take necessary action.

"It has come to the attention of the PMO that one Dr M V Rao has circulated visiting cards and greeting cards describing himself as advisor to the prime minister.

This is to state that there is no such advisor to the prime minister," Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Sanjaya Baru said.

He said relevant government agencies have been instructed to identify the imposter and take necessary action.
