8-year-old boy has monkey's tail Anand Mohan Sahay in Patna | February 21, 2007 12:05 IST Unbelievable but true -- An eight-year-old boy in Begusarai district of Bihar has a tail over 6 inches long. For villagers in his native village of Rani in the district, Roshan Kumar resembles a young monkey. The news about Roshan's tail has spread like wild fire and people from nearby areas have been thronging to have a glimpse. "The tail has been there since birth and it is growing slowly. It is a miracle," Roshan's father Avadh Kishore Rai told rediff.com on Wednesday. "Sometimes, he even insists on having the tail removed. We tried doing so in the past, but it has grown again," Rai said, adding that a local doctor had advised them not to remove the tail and that it may stop growing soon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
