Security forces have busted two militant hideouts in Doda and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a cache of arms and explosives, including four under barrel grenade launchers, official sources said in Jammu on Friday.

During search operations, security forces came across a hideout at Bakriwala Nala in Surankote tehsil of Poonch district on Thursday night and recovered from it a cache of arms and explosives. The recoveries included four under barrel grenade launchers, two remote control IED boxes and some ammunition, they said.

Another hideout was unearthed by troops at Nahla, 10 km south west of Banihal, in Doda district. A cache of arms was recovered from the hideout, which included one 12 bore double barrel rifle, 25 rounds of AK ammunition and six detonators.
