Pak to host SAARC law conference

Pakistan will host a SAARC law conference in March in which over 300 delegates from the South Asian countries are expected to take part.

About 500 delegates from Pakistan will attend the conference and participants from Afghanistan, a new SAARC member besides observer countries Japan and China are also expected to come.

Pakistan's Chief Justice, Justice Iftakar held a meeting on Tuesday to review the preparations. Before the SAARC event, a three-day National Judicial Conference would be held in Islamabad from Friday.

The conference is being organised by the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee, the Chief Justice said.
