"People have re-elected the BJP government in Gujarat after looking at its development-oriented work, while they have rejected the Congress government in Himachal which failed to give good governance," Modi said in a statement. "The results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh gives clear signals of change in the present political situation in the country. The two wins of BJP will reverse the fortune of Congress in the coming days," Modi said. "This has also proved that the people are not ready to accept Congress's politics of appeasement of particular section of society. The Congress has failed to control inflation, corruption and terrorism," he added.
