People in Gujarat want a change: Sonia Gandhi December 06, 2007 11:19 IST
Congress president Sonia Gandhi [Images] on Thursday said that people in Narendra Modi-run Gujarat are looking for a change as they have realised that the Bharatiya Janata Party's promises over the years have been hollow. Addressing the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting, Sonia also made a veiled attack on the Communist Party of India-Marxist led Left front government in West Bengal by referring to the Nandigram [Images] incident. She said such an incident should not have happened, CPP sources said. Sonia said in Gujarat the government has been exposed on all major issues.
