Burns, Chatterjee discuss N-deal

Burns arrived to attend a meeting with the Commercial Nuclear Executive Committee, hosted by the USIBC in Washington DC on April 17. The event was part of on going Indo-US Nuclear Initiative programme.

Burns is the US' pointsman to negotiate the 123 Agreement (The Indo-US nuclear deal) with India.

Swadesh Chatterjee is the driving force in uniting the often-disparate Indian-American community in support of the Indo-American civilian nuclear deal. He was honoured on with India Abroad's first Community Leader Award in New York on March 23.
