Another CD controversy in the making?
April 12, 2007 18:55 IST
Close on the heels of the controversial CD issue, another disc seized by the police criticises the Centre for not supporting former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein at the time of his execution.
SP Vijai Gaotem told PTI that the CD, seized at Khakoli town, also shows Mayawati addressing a rally in Gujarat where she terms the BJP as spreading a maya jal (magic web) over the country.
Goatem said though the people associated with the circulation of the CD are yet to be known, the motive is to influence voters in the district.
A case has been registered against unknown persons, he said.
Various political parties have asked for the de- recognition of BJP for allegedly circulating an anti-Muslim CD.
