The Supreme Court has reserved its judgment on the petition challenging the September 7 orders of the central government allowing traders to use residential areas for commercial activities in the national capital.

The Municipal Corporation, Delhi, has however said the sealing drive will continue.

The three-judge bench, comprising Chief Justice Y K Sabharwal, C K Thakkar and R V Ravindran, will deliver the judgment before Friday, when the court closes for the dusserra holidays.

Arun Jaitley and Harish Salve represented the traders' association.
