The designated TADA court on Tuesday pronounced Abdul Gani Turk guilty of parking an RDX-laden jeep at Century Bazaar during 1993 serial blasts.

Turk faces a sentence ranging from 5 years to life sentence or even death.

Turk is also charged with attending conspiracy meetings, participating in landing operations of arms and explosives, transporting explosives, obtaining training in arms handling and filling RDX in vehicles that were parked at various places on the day of the serial blasts.

The court, however, did not find him guilty on two other charges -- participating in arms and hand grenade training and participating in the meeting where the conspiracy of the blast was hatched.

Designated Judge P D Kode said though Turk had gone for the meeting, it was found that he stayed outside the residence of a co-accused where the meeting took place, the judge said.
