The online journal of 25-year-old Kimveer Gill, who shot himself on Wednesday after a random shooting spree which killed a student and injured 20 others in a Montreal college, reveals a lonely, hard-drinking, desperate and dangerous young man with a loathing for authority figures like the police. It also reveals a strange fascination for killing and death.

The Indo-Canadian teenager's posts dating from December 3, 2005 to the morning of the crime on the web site vampirefreaks.com provide insights into the mind of a killer.

In just his second post, Gill talks about disemboweled, burning bodies and bodies hanging off bridges and overpasses.

In January, he refers to the movie Bang, Bang, You Are Dead as an 'inspirational movie'.

In yet another post, Gill says: 'The other day on TV they were talking about this 15-year-old kid that was killed by the cops, cuz' he took a fake gun to school. Then they said he was emotionally disturbed and suicidal. Aaaaa, Duh!! If people were making your life a living hell wouldn't you be hurt emotionally. How come no one ever talks about those JOCKS AND PREPS who's fault it is. Oh no. Heaven forbid.'

In passing, he also professes his love for guns: 'I love guns. I really do. The great equalizer... wouldn't you say?' he asks.

In one entry, he talks of a 'great demon warrior':

'The great demon warrior crushed all who opposed him. He ground their bones into dust, drank their blood, crucified them beside their false savior. HA HA HA HA HA. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.'

'His might was so great, that all he would have to do is look at the humans, and they would cower and hide, like the dogs they are. All Hail the Demon Lords.'

In yet another he says, 'I am locked in an invisible cage within my head. There is no chance of escape.'

His liking for the Aryan race is also evident when he says, 'The people of Germany [Images] and Austria. Their men have an iron will. They are brave, courageous, fearless, and determined. This makes the Aryan men the greatest warriors of all time. Their women are godesses. They are beautiful, intelligent, kind, caring, and elegant. This makes the Aryan women godesses on this earth. Show respect when in their presence.'

And he gives vent to his disillusionment as, 'Most of the men on this earth don't deserve the women they have.'

Ironically, Gill thought that cops were snooping vampirefreaks.com in an effort to profile people on them:

On June 11, he says: 'Ever since that girl from Alberta (another blogger on the site) killed her family, they've been going through the pros, and have arrested dozens of people because of what they wrote in their journals (like talking about killing someone), or the pics they got (like holding a gun) or whatever [both things that Gill did].'

'Just be careful about what you write. Select "Private Entry" for anything that might be perceived as suspicious.'

In one post, Gill, who wore a trench coat on the day of the shooting, writes, 'wear your trench coats with pride'

Apart from cold-blooded thoughts in his journal, he also wrote occasionally about his love for two video games (Postal and World of Witchcraft), his favourite WWE wrestling stars, his favourite music bands (almost all metal bands).

He also mentions a special girl that he met on vampirefreaks.com, and says he might be in love with her.

In other random posts, he says that all sports are stupid, that he likes the rain and wrestling.
