Rahul Gandhi sprains leg, to return to Delhi
September 13, 2006 17:52 IST
Congress member Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday suffered a leg sprain after reportedly slipping at the Munshiganj guesthouse, Congress sources in Amethi said. Congress workers shouted anti-Rahul slogans after the young Congress MP, who was finding it difficult to walk, hastily concluded his speech at a meeting at Dakhipur in his Lok Sabha constituency. Rahul suffered a sprain after he had a fall at the Sanjay Gandhi hospital guesthouse in Munshiganj on Wednesday morning and is likely to leave for New Delhi cutting short his visit by a day, sources added.
