Deceased Ujjain Professor H S Sabharwal's heart has been sent again for medical examination to the pathology department of a medical college in Indore, the police said on Friday.

Chandrahas Kulkarni of the college's pathology department said the results may take about four to fifteen days.

On September 5, the medical college had returned Prof Sabharwal's heart, saying that it was not properly sealed.

Dr Kulkarni said the histopathology test on the heart is part of the post-mortem.

However, it was not carried out during post-mortem. He maintained that there was nothing special about the test.

Prof Sabharwal, who was with Ujjain's Madhav College, died when student activists attacked him after the professor cancelled a students' union election on August 26.
