A 19-year-old youth was arrested on Monday in connection with the foiled attempt to attack the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh headquarters in Nagpur on June 1, police said.

The youth has been identified as Mohmmad Idris Mohmmad Bashruddin from Telgaon in neighbouring Beed district, police added.

Three heavily-armed Pakistani militants, dressed as police sub-inspectors and travelling in an Ambassador car, were shot dead in an encounter with the police while trying to enter the heavily-guarded headquarters in Mahal in the eastern part of Nagpur.
