Bangladeshi national Noorul Hooda was on Monday arrested in connection with the bomb blasts in Malegaon, Maharashtra, which claimed the lives of 31 people and injured more than 200.

Police said Hooda is suspected to have planted the bombs.

Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil had on October 8 informed that investigations into the September 8 blasts was in the final stage and headed in the proper direction.
