Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] on Friday said he had accepted an invitation to visit Pakistan, but did not say when he would travel there.

"I have accepted the invitation," he told reporters in New Delhi during the iftar party hosted by him.

The invitation was extended to him by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] in April 2005 and repeated recently when they met in Havana.

"I told the president I'm looking forward to a purposeful visit at a time to be decided through diplomatic channels," Dr Singh had said after his meeting with Musharraf.
