S C Bhuttan, advocate for Bharti Yadav in the Nitish Katara murder case, has threatened to file contempt proceedings against some television channels for inviting SMS's from their views on Bharti's first day's deposition.
Speaking to rediff.com on Thursday, hours before Bharti was to depose for the second day in a row, Bhuttan said that while the proceedings were held in camera yet a lot of details have come out in the media.
"This is absolutely contemptuous and I am going to take up this matter with the court first thing in the morning," Bhuttan said. When asked if the details that were leaked to the media were correct Bhuttan said that one does not talk about anything, which is contemptuous in nature.
