The role of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence in Nepal has been marginalised due to the growing people's movement, top Maoist leader Prachanda said on Saturday.

"We want to make it absolutely clear that as our movement started spreading, the people's movement started spreading, such tendencies were marginalized," he told reporters when asked about the role ISI had been playing from Nepal.

"Its role has become negligible now, with the growth of our people's movement", the Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) said.
