President honours Kashmir's bravest

Army Chief J J SinghArmy Chief General J J Singh (on the jeep) inspects a guard of honour from the 17th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry during a ceremony at its Regimental Centre in Srinagar, November 3.

Singh presented the President's Colours to the Battalion on behalf of President A P J  Abdul Kalam. The Colours are given for valiant and courageous service in the line of duty.
