How cops cracked Rs 10-cr heist in 2 days
A copy of the Mumbai edition of the Gujarat Samachar, some smart inter-state police cooperation and a bit of luck helped cops solve Hyderabad's Rs 10-crore jewellery heist on Thursday.
The Hyderabad police said that the heist was well-planned and meticulously executed. But the copy of the Gujarati newspaper dated April 14 alerted the cops that an inter-state gang was involved. The Hyderabad police alerted their counterparts in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan and formed special teams to hunt for the culprits.
