May 10, 2006

Kashmiri Muslim women gesture as they pray at the shrine of Peer Dastageer in Srinagar, 10 May 2006, during the celebrations to mark the Urs (Festival) of the saint who lived in Baghdad, Iraq some 1000 years ago and is buried there.

Kashmiri Muslims hold the saint in high esteem and have set-up scores of shrines and mosques in his memory.
