Explosives, arms seized in Aurangabad May 09, 2006 23:51 IST The Anti Terrorist Squad of the Mumbai police on Tuesday seized explosives and weapons from a place in Aurangabad city of Marathwada region, police sources said. The seizure took place following a raid by ATS officials at an undisclosed location in Aurangabad on Tuesday afternoon. The sources said a team of Delhi police had also assisted in the operation in which top officials of ATS participated. The operation was underway till late Tuesday night. The Delhi Police had sent a team to Maharashtra following the arrest of two suspected Laskhar-e-Tayiba operatives in Delhi on Monday. Director General of Maharashtra Police P S Pasricha said, "Something is going on...We will let you know at an appropriate time."
