Bahujan Samaj Party will not field a candidate against Congress President Sonia Gandhi [Images] when she seeks re-election from Rae Bareli, BSP chief Mayawati said Friday.

Gandhi, who resigned from Lok Sabha on March 23 in the wake of office-of-profit controversy, had announced that she would contest again from Rae Bareli constituency in Uttar Pradesh when the by-election would be held.
