Maharashtra: Resident doctors call off strike March 11, 2006 00:04 IST The Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors on Friday night called off their 12-day strike after an assurance by the state government to increase their stipend amount by over Rs 4,000, MARD sources said. The doctors' strike started when a dead patient's relatives beat up a doctor in a Maharshtra hospital.
