Mumbai: Student thrashed by teacher dies March 09, 2006 03:25 IST Abhishek Tiwari, a student of Guru Nanak School in Mumbai, died on Wednesday amidst allegations that he was severely beaten up by his teacher. A case of accidental death was registered after a post-mortem conducted at King Edward Memorial Hospital here revealed that he died of a dog-bite, police said. Family sources, however, alleged that the 14-year-old student of Class 8 fell sick after he was severely beaten up by his drawing teacher.
