2 Lashkar militants killed in Delhi encounter Onkar Singh in New Delhi | March 08, 2006 09:44 IST Last Updated: March 08, 2006 09:49 IST Delhi police gunned down two Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorists near Bawana on the outskirts of Delhi early Wednesday morning. Delhi Police Commissioner K K Paul confirmed the killings. The killings came hours after two bomb blasts rocked Varanasi, killing over 20 people and injuring more than 60. "Our special cell boys did a splendid job and gunned down two Lashkar terrorists near Bawana this morning. They were killed in an encounter around 6 am," he said. With PTI inputs
