Australian Prime Minister John Howard on Monday called on President A P J Abdul Kalam during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.During the meeting, which lasted 30 minutes, Kalam laid special emphasis on building a world knowledge platform and also sought the cooperation of Australia in it, official sources said.
