Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was Sunday discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was admitted on Thursday for treatment of suspected viral fever, doctors said in New Delhi.

The doctors said his latest health reports were normal with no fever recorded in the past two days.

Supreme Court Judge Ashok Mathur, Delhi Lieutenant Governor B L Joshi and former Union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy were among those who visited Shekhawat, 82, at AIIMS before he was discharged.
