Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to make a statement in Parliament on March 6, regarding the agreement reached between him and US President George W Bush on the issue of civil nuclear cooperation.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister P R Dasmunsi told reporters that Dr Singh is also expected to reply to the discussion on the Iran issue in Parliament on that day.
The International Atomic Energy Agency board meeting on the Iran issue is also scheduled on March 6 and Left parties and the Samajwadi Party, outside supporters of the Congress-led coalition, have warned the government of serious consequences if it voted with the US and against Iran at the meeting.
